Northeast Oklahoma Veterans Freedom Tours, LLC (NEOVFT) is a 501c3 Nonprofit. Our Primary concern is the Health safety and Welfare of the Veterans that we serve. We make every effort to provide the absolute best for those with in our stewardship as we travel with those who gave their all and much more to serve our country for every freedom and liberty that we now have as Americans.

It is our stand, that we will provide this statement regarding the events that took place in Charlotte, NC at the airport and on the Plane. NEOVFT has chosen to cease all further interviews regarding the issue as we want our focus to remain on the Positive and wholesome experiences we had with our Travelers.

We often say, and live by the motto, “We come as Strangers and Leave as Family”. This is not achieved when our attention is drawn away from the Veterans and their families. NEOVFT utilizes a board of individuals that are not paid and give of their own time and efforts. Many hours of research and follow-up are spent making absolutely sure that we have the correct vital data that we need to travel with any situation that might be encountered. We would NEVER attempt such without knowing all the facts. Our equipment was generously donated By Seasons Hospice and the appropriate training and instruction was given. It is often the case, that there are unforeseen situations that arise in which all parties involved are required to adapt and react. We feel strongly that our decision as a board to support our Veteran was the correct Decision. In an act of solidarity, the other veterans chose to act as any veteran would. They stayed behind.

While it might appear as we did not receive the proper customer service that our Veterans deserve, we strongly agree. However, we are choosing to move forward professionally and without the use of media. NEOVFT will mediate this situation within the proper avenues with our contacts at the involved airlines. We are strong and we are moving forward. We feel that any further media involvement will distract from our purpose. We are here for the Veteran’s. They will be our first priority. We are thankful to all the many businesses and individuals that provided the funds to make this the trip of a lifetime. We are grateful that everyone was returned home safely. We leave no one behind. We have returned PROUDLY as Family, bonded for generations to come.
